How to reach the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute?

The Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute is located on the Utrecht Science Park, De Uithof, next to the Rijnsweerd junction of the A27 and A28 highways. It can easily be reached by public transport or by car. The Netherlands is well-represented on Google Maps, where you can easily select to reach a destination by car, cycling and public transport. A map of campus can be downloaded here: Map of Utrecht Science Park

You can use Google Maps to obtain directions from any address you might be interested in to the Westerdijk Institute (address at the bottom of the text). The satellite images of Google Maps are quite updated for this part of campus, also if you use the streetview mode of Google itself (drop the yellow doll on the street name Uppsalalaan, not on one of the blue dots in front of the building).

Public transport
There is an additional website for public transport that you can also use to see how to get around by bus, tram and train in the Netherlands - this will give you a good indication whether something is within reasonable distance in terms of walking and travel time: 9292ov website. Additional information can be found in: General tips for getting around in Utrecht

Because there is not enough parking space behind our building, please park your car in the P+R De Uithof. From there, it's only about a 3-minute walk to our building. More information about the P+R De Uifhof can be found here. Keep in mind that traffic around Utrecht, and especially on and around campus, can be very bad during peak traffic hours.
